I’ve just scheduled an appointment to get vaccinated at Moscone Center, a conference center just down the street from me which the city has turned into a major vaccination site. (For some reason there’s very little demand for conference space at the moment.) In addition to the convenient location, it’s also known for the staff’s efficiency and excellent taste in music; by all accounts it’s about as enjoyable as being poked with a needle can get.
Already 68% of San Franciscans have gotten at least one dose, more things are being reopened by the week, and SF is on track to have everyone vaccinated by July. I’m very much looking forward to socializing regularly again.
