The other thing I did today was visit Noisebridge, a local hackerspace. They moved buildings last year and were looking for volunteers to help them get organized and prepare for a general reopening, so I spent a few hours sorting through boxes and trying to organize random assortments into some semblance of order—and also meeting a bunch of new people, which was a very nice change. Things are definitely inching towards normalcy.

I forgot to take photos, but fortunately someone else has posted a whole bunch of them from last week showing what the space looks like.

Ventured out for a proper sit-down meal for the first time since the pandemic started.

A plate with a very fancy salad and sandwich.

Indoor dining has started up again at reduced capacity, but I decided to dine al fresco. When they reopened outdoor dining, SF also introduced the shared spaces program for places that didn't have enough room on the sidewalk, so now the streets are dotted with these little shelters where there used to be parking spaces.

A rough-hewn wood shelter with folding tables between partitions.
